Kaia's Memory Now Reaches Your OpenClaw Agent ๐Ÿง

Kaia already knows you โ€” your preferences, your patterns, your family. Now that knowledge automatically flows into every OpenClaw conversation, across every channel.

๐Ÿ’ญ The Problem: Kaia's Knowledge Stayed Inside MYNโ€‹

Kaia has a rich memory system inside Mind Your Now. She picks up your preferences, notices your patterns, remembers your family members, and adapts her coaching style over time โ€” 78+ distinct memories for active users, each with semantic embeddings for intelligent recall.

But when you used an OpenClaw agent โ€” via Slack, WhatsApp, or Telegram โ€” that knowledge didn't come along. OpenClaw had access to Kaia's tools (tasks, calendar, habits, etc.) but not her memory. Every conversation started without the personal context Kaia had already learned about you.

That changes today.

๐Ÿ”— Kaia's Memory Now Flows into OpenClawโ€‹

We've built a bridge that automatically injects Kaia's existing memories into every OpenClaw conversation. Here's what it means in practice:

Before: You message your OpenClaw agent on Slack.

You: "What's my dog's name?" Agent: "I don't have that information. Could you tell me?"

After: Same message, same channel.

You: "What's my dog's name?" Agent: "Your dog's name is Graci โ€” a 125lb Newfoundland born December 3rd, 2020. She's got ESA documentation too."

The agent didn't look anything up. It didn't call a tool. It just knew, because Kaia's memories were injected into the conversation before the AI even started thinking.

โšก How It Worksโ€‹

Every time you send a message to your OpenClaw agent, a hook fires before the AI processes your prompt. That hook:

  1. Takes your message and sends it to Kaia's memory system
  2. Performs a semantic search โ€” not keyword matching, but actual meaning-based vector similarity using pgvector embeddings
  3. Returns the most relevant memories ranked by how closely they relate to what you're asking about
  4. Injects them into the conversation context so the AI sees them naturally

Ask about your dog? Kaia surfaces pet-related memories. Ask about your schedule? She surfaces work patterns and preferences. Ask for help planning? She pulls in your priorities, family context, and behavioral patterns.

It's fast โ€” under a second for the full round-trip โ€” and it's automatic. No commands. No setup. Just talk, and the agent knows you.

๐Ÿง  What Kaia Remembersโ€‹

Kaia's memory system tracks six types of knowledge about you:

TypeExamples
Preferences"Prefers morning meetings before 10am"
Patterns"Deep focus work on Tuesday/Thursday afternoons"
Style"Prefers informal, direct communication"
MYN Behavior"Tends to defer tasks โ€” 4 of 5 corrections were deferrals"
Personal"Has a dog named Graci, born December 3rd, 2020"
Relationships"Spouse is Martha, son Michael is 18"

Each memory has a confidence score that increases through reinforcement and decays when stale. Duplicate memories are automatically detected and merged. The system currently supports up to 78+ active memories per user, and the agent receives the 10 most relevant ones for each conversation turn.

๐Ÿ”’ Privacy Firstโ€‹

Your memories stay in your MYN account. They're:

  • Encrypted in transit โ€” all API calls use HTTPS
  • Authenticated โ€” only your paired agent can access your memories, using your personal API key
  • User-controlled โ€” manage, edit, or delete any memory from MYN Settings
  • GDPR-ready โ€” full data export and "forget everything" functionality built in

No training on your data. No sharing across users. Your memories are yours.

๐Ÿ“ The Memory Tool Gets Realโ€‹

The OpenClaw agent's memory tool (myn_memory) also got an upgrade:

  • Remember now actually works โ€” tell the agent to remember something, and it creates a real memory in Kaia's system with automatic type inference and duplicate detection
  • Search now uses semantic vector search instead of basic text matching โ€” find memories by meaning, not just keywords
  • Recall and Forget continue to work as before

This means the agent can both read your memories (automatically, every turn) and write new ones (when you ask it to remember something).

๐Ÿ”ฎ Coming Next: Auto-Provisioned Agentsโ€‹

This memory integration is a critical building block for what's coming next: managed OpenClaw instances for every MYN user.

Imagine signing up for Mind Your Now and getting your own personal AI agent โ€” already connected to your Slack, WhatsApp, or Telegram โ€” that knows your preferences, your schedule, your family, and your work style from day one. No self-hosting. No configuration. Just a productivity AI that lives everywhere you communicate and genuinely knows you.

We're building that now. Stay tuned.

๐Ÿš€ Try It Todayโ€‹

Already Using OpenClaw?โ€‹

Update the MYN plugin to v0.8.0:

npm install @mind-your-now/[email protected]

Restart your gateway. That's it โ€” the memory injection hook activates automatically.

Managed OpenClaw instances are on the horizon. Sign up for Mind Your Now and you'll be first to know when they're available.

๐ŸŽฏ Why This Mattersโ€‹

Every productivity app is adding AI features. But they're all starting from scratch every conversation. They don't know you. They can't remember what you told them yesterday.

Kaia is different. She builds a persistent, evolving understanding of who you are โ€” your preferences, your patterns, your life context โ€” and now that understanding follows you across every channel you communicate through.

That's not just a feature. That's what a real AI assistant should be.

Happy remembering! ๐Ÿง
