Kaia's memory now reaches your OpenClaw agent
Your OpenClaw agent can now use what Kaia has learned about you. Before each message, the MYN plugin adds Kaia's most relevant memories to the conversation, so the agent starts with the same context she has.
What changed
Kaia keeps a memory inside Mind Your Now: your preferences, your patterns and the people in your life. Until now, an OpenClaw agent on Slack, WhatsApp or Telegram could use Kaia's tools (tasks, calendar, habits and more) but not her memory. Every conversation started without that context.
Here's the difference.
Before:
You: "When's my dentist appointment, and should I move anything around it?" Agent: "I can check your calendar. What time of day do you usually prefer for errands?"
After:
You: "When's my dentist appointment, and should I move anything around it?" Agent: "It's Thursday at 10am. You like to keep mornings for focused work, so I'd move your writing block to the afternoon."
The agent didn't call a tool to find your preferences. They were already in the conversation.
How it works
Each time you message your OpenClaw agent, the plugin runs before the AI sees your message:
- It sends your message to Kaia's memory.
- Kaia searches her memories by meaning, not keywords.
- The 10 most relevant memories come back.
- The plugin adds them to the conversation.
Ask about your schedule and you get your work patterns and preferences. Ask for help planning and you get your priorities and routines. There's nothing to turn on: once the plugin is updated, it happens on every message.
What Kaia remembers
Kaia sorts memories into six types:

Each memory has a confidence score. It rises when a memory is confirmed again and falls when it goes stale. When something new matches an existing memory, Kaia strengthens the existing one instead of adding a duplicate.
Who can see your memories
Your memories stay in your MYN account. The agent reads them with the personal API key you gave it when you paired it. You can view, edit or delete any memory in Settings → Kaia AI → Kaia's Memory.
Note: since October 2026, Kaia's memory search works only for accounts that have allowed AI data sharing in the app.
Remember and search from the agent
The plugin's memory tool, myn_memory, also improved:
- Remember saves a new memory in Kaia's system. Kaia works out the type and checks for duplicates.
- Search finds memories by meaning, not just matching words.
- Recall and Forget work as before.
So the agent reads your memories on every message and can add new ones when you ask it to.
Update the plugin
Memory injection arrived in version 0.8.0 of the MYN plugin for OpenClaw. Install or update it:
npm install @mind-your-now/myn
Restart your gateway and the memory step starts on your next message.
