We've been cooking up something special based on your feedback, and today we're thrilled to share it with you: Households — a new way to collaborate with the people who matter most in your daily life. And yes, that includes shared grocery lists! 🛒

What are Households? 🏡​

Households let you create a shared space with your family or roommates where everyone can stay in sync. Think of it as your productivity command center for the whole crew — whether that's your partner, kids, or the folks you share a roof with.

Here's what you can do right now:

  • Create a household and invite up to 6 people
  • Share a grocery list that updates in real-time for everyone
  • Share premium benefits — when the household owner has premium, everyone gets it! 🎁
  • Manage members with owner and member roles
  • Stay private — your personal tasks remain yours alone

Shared Grocery Lists That Actually Work 📝​

Ever sent someone to the store only to get three texts asking "wait, what kind of milk?" We've all been there. Our shared grocery lists solve this:

  • Real-time sync — add items and everyone sees them instantly
  • Check off items as you shop (no more double-buys!)
  • Smart categories to keep your list organized
  • Quantity tracking so you know exactly how much to get
  • Drag-and-drop to reorder items just the way you like

Getting Started is Easy 🚀​

  1. Head to Settings → Household tab
  2. Create your household (give it a fun name!)
  3. Invite family or roommates by email
  4. Start adding to your shared grocery list

That's it! Your invitees will get a friendly email to join, and you'll be collaborating in no time.

Premium Benefits for Everyone! 🌟​

Here's something special: when the household owner has a premium subscription, everyone in the household gets premium benefits too! That's right — one subscription covers your whole crew of up to 6 people. It's our way of making Mind Your Now more affordable for families and groups living together.

Privacy First 🔐​

We know sharing is caring, but privacy matters too. Here's how we've got your back:

  • Your personal tasks stay personal — only grocery lists are shared (for now)
  • You can only belong to one household at a time
  • Clear owner/member roles keep things organized
  • Leave anytime if your living situation changes
