57.2 — A welcome tour that points at the right things
Version 57.2 fixes the short tour you see right after signing up, which was pointing at the wrong places. It also lets you delete your account and turn off AI sharing from the iPhone, iPad and Android app.
🛠 Improved & fixed
- The welcome tour shows you the real app. When we redesigned the app around Now earlier this month, the tour that follows sign-up kept describing the old layout. Two of its steps floated in the middle of the screen instead of pointing at anything, one described a Home screen that no longer exists, and the last step lit up the "Own it" button while talking about Settings. On phones the tour card also ran off the right edge of the screen. We're sorry. It was the first thing many of you saw. Each step now points at what it describes: your zones, the Add a task bar, the five places in the menu, Calendar, and Settings (your initial at the top right on a computer, or More on a phone). It fits on a phone screen and also works on shorter laptop screens.
- Delete your account from the app. Settings in the iPhone, iPad and Android app now has the same Delete my account option as the website.
- Turn off AI sharing on your phone. Settings → Kaia AI is now in the iPhone, iPad and Android app, with the same AI data sharing switch as the website.
- Kaia explains herself before you allow her. If you chose Not now when Kaia first asked, her panel no longer looks empty and broken. A short card says what Kaia does and that she needs your permission to use outside AI services, with buttons to allow her or to see exactly what is shared.
- An email when you buy. After you buy Mind Your Now or a Kaia plan, you now get an email confirming the purchase, with our refund policy and how to reach us.
