57.0 — You decide what Kaia shares

Version 57.0 asks before Kaia sends anything to the AI services that power it, and it fixes a grocery list that could go blank on iPhone and iPad.

  • Kaia asks first. Before your first message or voice call, Kaia shows which AI companies help it answer you and what they receive: what you type or say, plus the tasks, calendar events, habits and memories Kaia needs. Nothing is sent until you tap Allow. Choose Not now and Kaia, voice and Compass stay off while the rest of the app works as usual.
  • Change your mind any time. Settings → Kaia AI has a new AI data sharing switch. Turn it off to stop sharing; turn it on to see the list again and allow it.

🛠 Improved & fixed​

  • The grocery list comes back on its own. On iPhone and iPad, after the app had been in the background for a while, the grocery list could show nothing and say "Failed to add item" until you closed and reopened the app. It now reloads by itself, and adding items works right away.
  • Monthly tasks stay put on your calendar. A repeating task could keep moving its calendar event back and forth between two days. It now stays on one day.
