57.4 — Finishing setup on your phone

Version 57.4 fixes the welcome screens on phones for anyone who left them unfinished and came back later.

🛠 Improved & fixed

  • The bottom bar no longer covers the welcome screens. On a phone, the row of tabs at the bottom (Now, Calendar, Household, Habits, More) stayed on top of the welcome screens. On shorter screens it covered "Skip for now" and the Next button, and tapping there opened Now, which sent you back to the start. The tabs now stay hidden until setup is done.
  • Finishing setup takes you to your day. If you came back to finish the welcome screens later, "Let's get started" could send you back to the first welcome screen. It now takes you to Now and starts the short tour.
  • Android asks about notifications once. After you tapped "Don't allow", Android showed the same question a second time. It now asks once.
