57.5 — Finishing setup on Android, and a steadier phone calendar

Version 57.5 lets everyone on Android finish the welcome screens, keeps your place in the phone calendar, and makes finishing a task feel calmer.

✨ New

  • A brighter daily workflow. The "Your Daily Workflow" step of the welcome screens now shows each part of the day in the colour of the zone it works from, so the routine is easier to take in at a glance.

🛠 Improved & fixed

  • Android: the welcome buttons sit above the navigation bar. On Android phones that use the three navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen, those buttons covered Next, Back and Start my day, so you could not finish setting up. The welcome screens now leave room for them.
  • The phone calendar keeps your place. When you checked off a block on the phone's day view, the calendar jumped back to the current time a second later. It now stays where you were, so you can see the time you freed.
  • Short blocks show their time. On the phone's day view, a 30-minute block cut its time line in half. Short blocks now show the title and start time on one line.
  • Finishing something is calmer. The note that appears after you finish a calendar block shows the same check and red pen stroke as the block, and has one Undo. If MYN moves other tasks into the time you freed, that news joins the same note instead of stacking a second one.
  • Clearer Kaia change reviews. When Kaia changes your plan, the review lists each change more plainly.
  • The "You're set up" card points to the right places. It now tells you to type your first task in the box at the top of Now (put a day in it, like "call Sam tomorrow", and it lands in the right zone), and describes Kaia as an optional planning assistant.
  • Android asks about notifications once. After you tapped "Don't allow", Android asked again every time the app started. It now respects your answer.
