56.4 — Talk to Kaia while you use your phone

Version 56.4 makes voice calls with Kaia on iPhone work the way you'd expect from a phone call.

✨ New​

  • Keep talking when you switch apps. On iPhone, a voice call with Kaia now keeps going when you open another app. Come back and the call is still there, with the call bar at the top of the screen. If the call goes quiet for 3 minutes in the background, it ends on its own.

🛠 Improved & fixed​

  • Kaia asks before she changes things, on screen. When Kaia wants to move your tasks, she now shows the "Allow" card right away instead of asking you to confirm out loud first. If the Kaia panel was lowered, it comes back up so you can see the card. The "Needs your OK" chip on the call bar opens it too.
  • You see the screens Kaia opens. When you ask Kaia to show you something during a call on your phone, her panel slides down so the screen is visible, and the call bar stays at the top.
  • Your words keep showing after you come back. If a call reconnected, what you said afterwards sometimes stopped appearing. Every part of the call now shows up in order.
  • More room in the Kaia panel. The buttons at the top of the Kaia panel sit in one slim row, so the conversation gets the space.
