50.2 — Chores go native on your phone
This release brings the last desktop holdout — the chore editor — into the new mobile design, gives Kaia voice calls one consistent look on every screen, and fixes two chat bugs that made successful messages look like failures.
✨ New
- A native chore editor on mobile. Creating or editing a chore on your phone now uses the same full-screen, finger-friendly design as tasks and habits — day chips, big touch targets, the works — instead of a cramped desktop dialog. Assignments, difficulty stars, recurrence, and lock flows all made the move.
- One consistent voice call, anywhere. Starting a call with Kaia now looks and behaves the same on every screen, with a polished connecting state — no more being whisked away to a different page mid-thought.
🛠 Improved & fixed
- Kaia chat no longer cries wolf. Sending a message could wrongly show "Kaia didn't answer" even when your message went through and the reply arrived fine. Sends now show the real outcome.
- Bring Your Own AI works with the latest OpenAI models. Powering Kaia with your own OpenAI API key failed against gpt-5.x models; those connections now chat happily.
