48.10.0 — Kaia edits your calendar, and schedules that stay scheduled
A reliability release with one big new trick: Kaia can now change and remove events on your Google calendar, and two bugs that could quietly freeze your schedule or blank your task lists are gone.
✨ New
- Kaia can edit and remove your calendar events. Ask her to move Thursday's dentist appointment, rename a meeting, or delete an event — by voice or chat — and it happens on your connected Google calendar. She'll always confirm before deleting anything, and she knows the difference between one occurrence of a repeating event and the whole series (whole-series changes are Google-only for now; Microsoft calendars support removing single occurrences).
🛠 Improved & fixed
- Schedules un-froze for shared households. A calendar record without a timezone — created by a household member's account — could silently stop the schedule of everyone sharing chores with them: tasks just stopped moving, with no error anywhere. The bad records are repaired, new ones can't be created, and one odd calendar entry now affects only that one item instead of freezing the whole plan.
- Task lists load reliably again. Some views could fail to fetch your tasks entirely (the app quietly retried forever while the list stayed stale). Every list now requests exactly what it can show, which also makes large task lists lighter to load.
- Kaia thinks faster. The instructions Kaia carries into every conversation went on a serious diet — about 75% smaller — which trims her time-to-first-word and leaves more room for what you're actually talking about.
