50.0 — A voice bar worthy of the call
Version 50 is a milestone release: the in-call Kaia bar got a complete redesign, and the app's mobile foundation moved to a new platform generation under the hood.
✨ New
- The Kaia call header, redesigned. When you're on a voice call with Kaia and navigate elsewhere in the app, the call now lives in a sky-blue header across the top of the screen — clear of the iPhone status bar and Dynamic Island it used to hide behind. It shows the full name of your conversation (however long), a live waveform and call timer, and one-tap mute and end-call buttons. Tap the header to jump back to the conversation.
- Call options, one tap away. A new options button (or a long-press on the header) opens a sheet with everything about the live call: jump to the conversation, mute, switch speaker output, rename the session, or end the call.
- Nothing hides under the call bar anymore. Screens slide down below the header while a call is live, so the first item in every list stays visible and tappable.
🛠 Improved & fixed
- A faster, cleaner mobile foundation. The app's native platform moved up a major generation, trimming out retired components and adopting the newest system conventions on both iPhone and Android — including proper edge-to-edge rendering on new Android devices. Siri shortcuts ("Hey Siri, add task") come along intact.
